BMW’s & Mini’s are designed to only need a minimum amount of maintenance, but what about those things you’re supposed to check between services that are vital to safety and reliability as you drive, such as fluid levels, lights, brakes and clutch hydraulics?

Whether you’re planning a continental holiday in the heat of summer or preparing for freezing winter conditions, it’s reassuring to know that your BMW is in peak condition, from tyres to coolant levels.

Our Technicians can take care of it quickly and efficiently with a thorough Routine Maintenance Check. It can be performed while you wait (taking approximately 30 minutes) and costs £25 inc VAT.

Air Conditioning

We now have new state of the art vehicle air-conditioning equipment, which allows us to check systems for leaks, recharge refrigerant and lubricant and check system operating pressures. Continuous use of an air conditioning system helps prevent the build-up of bacteria inside the micro-filter it also stops the seals from becoming brittle, which can cause the refrigerant to leak. However to keep a system operating at peak efficiency and avoid musty smells, micro-filters should be replaced at regular intervals and the correct level of gas should be checked and replaced if necessary.

The air conditioning system in your BMW works hard all year round to maintain a comfortable temperature for you and your passengers, while filtering out pollen and dust and minimising condensation. A BMW’s air conditioning system removes 80% of the particles and deposits from traffic fumes. An evaporator assists in regulating the air temperature before it is circulated throughout the vehicle.

If your air conditioning takes too long to reach the temperature you want, or if it will not reach it at all, it may need the gas recharging.
